What our students say!

Student Testimonials

Education has always played an important role in my life, helping me to develop myself on a personal and professional level, thus making it a priority for myself.
The MBA program offered by UNESCO Chair offers this kind of education.
During this program, I learned that the concept of Wrong or Right doesn’t exist, there are only people who are eager to learn from each other, showing a common passion for aspiration and constant development.
This MBA brings together professors from different countries such as Romania, Germany, Switzerland and France, who are leaders in their fields of business, so the examples discussed were always relevant and accurate.
Like me, you will interact with colleagues from different fields of activities, having several years of experience, from people enrolled in their first master, to business owners and managers.
You won’t get bored during the lectures, due to the interactive courses, which are based on practical exercises, case studies, debates and strategic analyzes. The possibilities of exchanging experiences and the chances to network are amazing.
Thanks to the methods used, you will learn to do strategic and impact analysis, professional business plans, to identify the advantages and risks of a business more easily, to manage better your priorities, to develop your ability to make analogies and to take important decisions much faster, saving time and energy.
Don’t wait for life to teach you, choose to be prepared, choose to make a difference!

2nd Year MBA student

Within the University of Bucharest UNESCO MBA program, as a student, you will find all the elements that one would expect: professors with both academic and business experience, coming from and having been exposed to multiple cultures, diversity in the class room in terms of nationality, industries, experience and occupations and an academia environment that supports one’s learning and development, tailored for full time working professionals.

This MBA has helped me strengthen my knowledge in the areas I was most passionate about, while opening my interests in other directions as well.

Ultimately, having the opportunity to follow the exchange program and study at University of Geneva represents an exceptional closing of my MBA experience, which succeeded to strike the perfect balance between academia and professionals and offered more than I expected when I joined in 2018.

Rareș LUCACI
former student, Intercultural Management

Today I had the last course at master studies. Too late for a master? At all. I was looking for something outside the comfort zone but relevant in my professional field: HR, communication, mergers&acquisitions, business. In this context resulted the topic of the thesis: Challenges of SMEs in M&A processes. At the interview I was asked about how determined am I to attend the classes, how the family will support me, as presence of 80% being mandatory. They did, and thank them.

Thank you so much: Basil Zimmermann, RUEGG François, Franz-Lothar Altmann, Gerhard Wagner, Miriam Costea, PhD, Thomas Straub, Dearly Dep. Christian Giordano, Cristian Iftode, Daniela Zaharia, Ileana Dascalu, Laura Grunberg, Mihai Korka, Ruxandra Constantiescu-Stefanel, Thomas Steger, and in a very special way to Irma Rybnikova and Lilian Ciachir and Carmen-Viviana Ciachir.

Dear colleagues! That mandatory 80% presence has gained a whole new meaning due to the interactions with you.

I conclude with a quote (Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupery) heard at today’s course: “If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.” Thanks for the lesson, https://lnkd.in/dPRw2Vd!

Intercultural Management Master Program, 2nd Year

When I have felt that I want more for my career, I’ve started looking for another master that would level it up therefore, I’ve thought that MBA would be the best choice to achieve my goals. What caught my attention is that this master program is framed by UNESCO-Chair, so I’ve decided to try my luck and contact the University of Bucharest which was to me Mr. Lilian Ciachir. Thanks to him I was more convinced that I’m making the right choice, I personally find the program complete and diverse, by the teaching materials, most of the professors are from abroad, it assures diversity and flexibility that develop the teamwork skills.

This program helped me to learn how to adapt with new experiences, to extend my networking and make new friends with different cultural backgrounds and it also offers an opportunity for mobility, …
